A House That Exist (2025 Edition)

A House That Exist is an RPG Maker VX Ace game I made back when I was a teenager. One part humorous parody of poorly made RPG Maker games, one part me just being bored and having too much free time.

It follows the journey of John as he explorers a strange world where nothing makes much sense, not least of which is John himself. On the way he'll meet up with his friend Maria, as well as other people like Bob and the Grim Reaper himself!

If you want a surreal game that's mostly a short little romp through a bunch of surreal jokes then I think you'll enjoy this! Do keep in mind this game is over 5 years old now however, so some stuff in it probably hasn't aged perfectly, and some stuff I would certainly do differently if I made it today. Still, the game has managed to be a delightful experience for friends and family I've shown it to, who've found it to be an extremely funny game with a sincere if surreal sense of humor.
